Does the TagTrek collar include an AirTag?

No. TagTrek includes the silicone case integrated into the collar, but Apple AirTag is sold separately.

Does AirTag work like a GPS tracker for dogs?

No. AirTag is not a GPS tracker and does not continuously transmit a satellite location. Its updates depend on Apple’s Find My network.

Does AirTag show my dog’s location in real time?

Not continuously or guaranteed. The location can update when nearby devices in the Find My network detect the AirTag; where coverage is limited, the last recorded location may be shown.

Does TagTrek replace an ID tag, microchip or leash?

No. TagTrek and AirTag are complementary tools. Keep visible identification, microchip information up to date, supervision and an appropriate leash for the location and activity.
