WUFTREK 12-Month Warranty
All WUFTREK products include a twelve (12) month warranty covering manufacturing, material or workmanship defects, starting from the delivery date.
During this period, you can request a review if the product develops a premature failure during normal use.
What may be covered?
Warranty coverage may apply to cases such as:
- Structural stitching that comes apart prematurely.
- Rings, buckles or adjusters with a manufacturing defect.
- Parts installed or sewn incorrectly.
- Materials that separate or break without signs of misuse.
- Products received incomplete, incorrect or with an original defect.
Each case is reviewed individually to determine the cause of the failure.
What is not covered?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Bites, scratches or damage caused by the dog.
- Normal wear from use and friction.
- Dragging or contact with abrasive surfaces.
- Accidents, snagging, cuts, burns or extraordinary pulling forces.
- Incorrect sizing or improper adjustment.
- Use contrary to product instructions.
- Contact with chemicals, excessive heat or improper cleaning methods.
- Modifications or repairs performed by third parties.
- Loss of the product or removable parts.
- Deterioration caused by improper storage.
Normal changes in appearance, including signs of use, surface wear, gradual color fading or reduced reflectivity from friction, are not by themselves considered manufacturing defects.
What does a 12-month warranty mean?
The warranty covers defects attributable to the product. It does not mean the product is indestructible or that every type of damage occurring within twelve months will qualify for replacement.
Harnesses, collars and leashes are exposed to tension, friction, moisture, dirt, snagging and each dog’s individual behavior. A breakage is covered when our review determines that it resulted from a product defect rather than wear, accident, biting or improper use.
Example
A ring that detaches because it was installed incorrectly may be covered by the warranty.
By contrast, webbing cut by biting, worn through by dragging or broken after becoming snagged is not considered a manufacturing defect.
How do I request a warranty review?
Contact us with the following information:
- Order number or purchase details.
- Product name and size.
- Description of what happened.
- Complete and detailed product photos.
- A video of the issue when necessary.
Receiving a request does not mean the warranty has been approved. We first review the evidence and, in some cases, may request that the product be sent to us for a physical evaluation.
If the warranty is approved, we will apply the appropriate solution based on the nature of the issue and applicable law.
