MOVEMENT UNDER PULLING LOAD
Designed to support the run
The CaniTrek combines a Y-shaped front, adjustable fit and attachment points for running and transition periods. Its design supports the dog's stride and helps maintain a stable fit during training.
Y-shaped front
Its front structure leaves space around the shoulders to support natural front-leg movement.
Seven adjustment points
The adjustable straps help create a stable fit based on your dog's measurements and anatomy.
Comfort and visibility
Includes padded mesh and reflective details for training in different light conditions.
Running or walking
Includes a rear loop for the pulling line and an additional ring for connecting a standard leash.
Pulling line and running belt sold separately. Before competing, always review the event’s specific equipment rules.
BEFORE RUNNING
Test the fit in motion
Measure your dog, compare the results with the CaniTrek size chart and test the harness first while walking and jogging. Do not choose a size based only on breed or weight.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What to know before running with the CaniTrek
What is the difference between the CaniTrek’s nylon loop and metal ring?
The rear nylon loop is designed for connecting the pulling line while running. The additional ring can be used with a standard leash during walks or transition periods. Before each use, check that the selected attachment point, line and hardware are properly secured.
How should the CaniTrek’s seven adjustment points be fitted?
Adjust the straps gradually and evenly until the fit feels secure and stable without compressing the body. Check that the straps are not twisted and that the harness remains centered while your dog walks and jogs.
Which areas should remain unrestricted while running?
The harness should not block the shoulders, press on the neck or sit too close to the armpits. Your dog should be able to extend the front legs, breathe and change pace naturally.
How should I test the CaniTrek before the first training session?
Start with a walk and short jog in a controlled environment. Check whether the harness rotates, rides up toward the neck or causes rubbing. After the test, inspect the chest, armpits and other contact areas before increasing distance or intensity.
