AirTrek Pro: Our Most Advanced Dog Harness Yet
Published Updated WUFTREKSome products begin as an update. Others are the result of everything we have learned after years of designing technical gear for active dogs. AirTrek Pro belongs to the second group.
It is not simply another version of AirTrek. AirTrek Pro brings together multiple leash attachment options, an ergonomic structure, a vertical control handle, a secure tracker/ID pocket, reflective details and a hook-and-loop patch area in one technical harness designed for daily walks, training and outdoor adventures.

What makes AirTrek Pro different?
AirTrek Pro was designed for dogs and people who need more versatility than a basic walking harness provides. Its features work together as a system:
- Front leash attachment that can help with guidance and redirection when a dog pulls.
- Two rear leash attachment points for different walking setups.
- Vertical control handle for closer handling when needed.
- Zippered pocket for a compatible tracker or ID tag.
- Reflective front logo and details that help improve visibility when illuminated in low-light conditions.
- Hook-and-loop patch area for compatible patches.
- Technical textiles and hardware selected to balance durability, structure and weight.
A Pro evolution of AirTrek
The original AirTrek was built as a versatile everyday harness. AirTrek Pro develops that idea further with additional control, visibility and organization features for people who move between city streets, parks, training sessions and outdoor routes.
The goal was not to add features for their own sake. Each component has a specific role in fit, handling, visibility, attachment choice or everyday convenience.
Front leash attachment for guidance and redirection
The front leash attachment sits at the chest. When used appropriately, this position can help redirect a dog that tends to pull forward. It does not train a dog by itself and it is not a substitute for leash skills, reinforcement and consistent handling.
If pulling is part of your daily walks, choosing the right attachment point can be one useful part of a broader training approach.
Two rear leash attachment points
AirTrek Pro also includes two rear leash attachment positions. This gives you flexibility to choose a setup based on the walk, the environment and how your dog is moving that day.
Rather than treating one attachment point as universally better, we recommend choosing the position that keeps the harness stable and the leash connection practical for your dog and activity.
Vertical control handle
The vertical control handle provides a close-handling point for situations such as crossing a street, moving through a crowded area or briefly keeping your dog closer. Its orientation also keeps the handle compact against the harness during outdoor use.
The handle is intended for brief handling assistance. It is not a lifting device and should not be used to suspend the dog.
Tracker or ID pocket
A zippered pocket provides space for an Apple AirTag, a compatible Samsung SmartTag model or an ID tag. It keeps identification or a compatible locator device integrated into the harness instead of hanging from an external accessory.
Important: the tracker is not included. AirTag and SmartTag performance depends on the device, model and network it uses. The AirTrek Pro harness itself does not provide GPS or location tracking and does not replace secure handling or permanent identification such as a microchip.
Reflective details for low-light visibility
The front reflective logo and strategically placed reflective details are designed to return light when illuminated, helping make the dog more noticeable in lower-light conditions. Reflective material can support visibility, but it does not guarantee that a dog will be seen by drivers, cyclists or other road users.
Hook-and-loop area for compatible patches
The harness includes a hook-and-loop area for compatible patches. This can be useful for identification or training-related messages.
WUFTREK does not customize patches. The area is provided so you can use compatible patches of your choice.
Technical materials
AirTrek Pro combines materials selected for repeated use while keeping the harness practical for movement:
- 100% polyester technical textile.
- 100% polyester sport mesh.
- Acetal hardware.
- Zamak alloy hardware.
- 3M™ reflective material.
- 100% polyester webbing.
- EKA™ zipper.
The objective is a structured harness that remains relatively lightweight rather than adding unnecessary bulk.
Designed around movement
A harness should work with the dog's body, not simply wrap around it. AirTrek Pro uses an ergonomic shape intended to provide practical shoulder and chest movement when the harness is correctly sized and adjusted.
Fit remains essential. A harness that is too loose can rotate or shift; one that is too tight can restrict movement or create friction. Use our dog harness size guide before choosing a size.
48 pieces assembled in our workshop
AirTrek Pro is made from 48 individual components selected and assembled by hand in our workshop. The structure combines reinforced areas, leash attachment points, the control handle, pocket, reflective details and adjustment hardware into one integrated design.
For us, a more advanced harness is not about adding the greatest number of parts. It is about giving every part a clear job.
Who is AirTrek Pro for?
AirTrek Pro can be a strong option for:
- Dogs that tend to pull and may benefit from a front attachment option.
- Medium and large dogs whose people want multiple handling and leash-attachment choices.
- Active dogs that move between city walks, parks, training and outdoor routes.
- Dogs that are walked in lower-light conditions where reflective details may be useful.
- People who want a built-in pocket for a compatible tracker or ID tag.
- Families looking for a more technical alternative to a basic walking harness.
AirTrek Pro vs. a basic walking harness
A simple harness can work very well for calm daily walks. AirTrek Pro becomes more relevant when you want several functions in one piece of gear: front and rear leash attachment choices, a control handle, tracker/ID storage, reflective details and a patch area.
The right choice still depends on your dog's body, behavior and activity. If you are comparing harness styles, see our Dog Harness Guide.
Fit comes first
Even the most technical harness only works as intended when it fits correctly. Measure your dog, follow the size guide and check the fit in motion. The harness should remain stable without pinching, rubbing the armpits or riding up toward the throat.
After the first few uses, inspect the fit again and check all webbing, buckles, seams and attachment points as part of normal gear maintenance.
Built for dogs in motion
AirTrek Pro represents the direction behind WUFTREK: technical gear for dogs that walk, explore, train and move through real environments. It is designed to be used—not to stay on a shelf.
From an urban walk to a weekend trail, the AirTrek Pro combines practical handling, attachment flexibility and technical details in one harness.
Conclusion
AirTrek Pro is the most feature-complete harness we have designed to date. Its value comes from how its ergonomic structure, leash attachments, control handle, tracker/ID pocket, reflective details and patch area work together.
